The Importance of Arts, Culture & The Creative Process
The desire for beauty has accompanied man at all times. It found its expression in paintings, frescoes, sculptures, literature, and other works of art. Each generation made its contribution and gave rise to a new direction in creativity. For any person, art is an integral part of his life. We sometimes do not notice this, involuntarily admiring all the beauty that surrounds us. Works of art inspire, shape thinking, and also answer questions that many would be afraid to ask themselves. Art opens up new perspectives for society and also allows us to understand the physical and metaphysical world around us. It allows society to grow and develop.

Based near Lviv, Ukraine, Olga Kopeleva is an artist whose work explores the intersection of intuition, mysticism, and analytical rigor. Her creative process does not depict action itself but the preparatory state before it—a space where internal processes and experiences are transformed into artistic imagery. Kopeleva's approach challenges the simplicity of visual language, imbuing seemingly banal symbols with profound, unconventional meanings. Eschewing traditional preparatory methods like sketches, she constructs her compositions directly on the main surface, allowing for a raw and intuitive exploration of materials, themes, and forms. In the final stages of her work, she applies a critical, analytical lens, often reassessing and reconfiguring the results in a process she describes as “replacement.” By embracing abstraction as a gateway to mysticism, Kopeleva engages with concrete concepts, offering viewers a deeply personal yet universal dialogue through her art.
